Wrigglers is weekly baby yoga class where you will meet other mums and parents in a welcoming, non-judgemental and nurturing environment. Enjoy baby yoga, baby sensory experiences, rythym, rhyme and story time to aid your baby's development, grow your connection and have loads of fun together.
Each Wrigglers class is based around a theme from the 'That's not my' books with songs and movements to explore the theme. And at the end of each class we find out 'what's in the box?' - it might be sensory items, toys, instruments or some dressing up along with our themed story book!
The use of rythym and rhyme alongside movement helps develop skills your baby will use for language, literacy, coordination, concentration and helps build a strong relationship between the brain and body.
Wrigglers is more energetic than Tinies classes, and baby massage is replaced with baby yoga to keep up with your little ones as they become more curious of the world around them.
Baby yoga movements help your baby to develop flexibility, hand/eye co-ordination, fine and gross motor skills as well as promoting a sense of self, improving digestion, releasing tension and endorphins.
And of course the supportive circle of Wrigglers classes brings friendship, support, community and a space to share with each other, your own experiences, the highs and the lows of this stage in your parenthood journey.
Suitable for babies aged 5 months to 10 months or confidently crawling.
Classes are held at the Madoch Centre, St Madoes, a lovely, welcoming community center that offers a community cafe to grab great coffee and delicious cakes or bowl of soup after class, a small soft play and outdoor play area for babies and children to let you enjoy your coffee in a safe and relaxed atmosphere.
